Some people don’t deserve you and the “hard” part is you accepting that.

I’ve found myself in a people pleasing loop for most of my life simply because, I always felt like I belonged everywhere (rather than just fit) yet the world didn’t seem to reflect that back to me. It had me walking around questioning if something was wrong with me — kind of like the dog that has its head turned sidewalks and one eyebrow up at the world whereas the other part, I was holding my middle finger up.

I’ve always felt quite different from others– otherworldly– and many have reflected that back to me as well.

I’ve done my best attempting to stuff myself in a life, room, or circle that I couldn’t breathe into and this happens because we’re not meant to breathe in what’s not for us.

Some people are not meant to walk with you forever. Each person is a teacher and a student and a thank you. The most we can practice detaching ourselves of what we hoped, wished, and envisioned it to be, the sooner you- we- me- are free.

Some people do not deserve someone like you in their life. This is not personal to them– this is personal to you and you recognizing your own worth, value and standard.

That is why you will continue to hear, “what’s meant for you will always be here” whether it stays, comes back, or doesn’t. The most challenging part is accepting that.
