Am I being attacked or is it “in my head”?
🌬️ "Is it an attack… or am I perceiving it as one?"
This is the question that kept coming up for me as I went deeper into my journey and onto my path: a question that arises when you're growing out of old spiritual paradigms into deeper embodiment.
According to A Course in Miracles (ACIM):
I questioned this based on my work with A Course In Miracles — “nothing real can be threatened”, and you’re only "attacked" when you believe in separation.
AND…
When you feel something, you are not to deny that or practice being “okay with” what’s a no for your or a clear yes in your body.
🌿 Embodiment doesn’t mean bypassing intuitive “no’s.”
Embodiment DOES NOT mean bypassing your intuition… and this is why the relationship to yourself is the most important— to be with yourself in solitude, in silence, so you can learn the language of your Soul and not take on an invisible projection as your Souls direction.
Some situations, energies, or people are not aligned with your Soul. Your nervous system, breath, body, even dreams — are saying:
“Not an attack. A message.”
An attack is only an attack when we receive it as one— and— you must trust yourself and the only way to do that is honoring the subtle nudges in your body. If you tighten— notice it and honor it. Practice, okay great; this is a no for me. Thank you.
