What’s really stopping you…

We tend to speak about fear and how we must have more faith than fear… and although I do agree with this–– there’s so much more to it.

In each moment, we have a choice— a choice to continue doing the thing that we’re doing or to stop and make it the last time that we do it. Like a declaration and a practice of saying NO to what is keeping you stuck— and setting the boundary and tone for this new version of you that doesn’t sabotage herself from the life that she so deeply deserves.

So what stops up? What makes fear have us in a headlock or feel like our ankles are shackled by these unbreakable yet invisible chains? Because, if you not aware that it’s fear holding you back— it will continue to keep your feet where they are as if they’re cemented or hopping around doing the next thing instead of doing what you truly want to do…

I want this for you and I know you want this for you, too.

So you must call it what it is. Fear. You must say what you really feel. Fear. “I feel scared. I feel petrified.” And speak to that part of you that is feeling so scared. Have the conversation with that younger part that didn’t feel safe taking the steps that felt too big and scary. Hold her/his hand and stand by her/his side— and don’t leave it. You are more than equipped now. You do not need any more evidence to support that.

And as you welcome that part of you that’s so scared, allow the emotion to move through you. Let the fear move through you— NOT move you. Not making moves as fear would have you move. You’re making moves as if fear didn’t have the upper-hand; it’s the passenger in the vehicle and does not have hold on the steering wheel, gas, brakes, clutch, not even the windshield wipers or signal lights. It's the passenger that’s always looking in the rear view mirror and side mirrors. Be mindful of that.

And yes, fear will continue to show up and that’s where you get to meet it and look at it for what it is. Fear. “Hello Fear.” Like old friends.

The thing with fear is that— it comes right back in like an open door showing you the next possible thing that will (absolutely) happen 🤨 if you decide to embark on an unknown path that most wont, don’t and that doesn’t come with a tangible roadmap and so, it requires you to establish connection with something that no one can do for you and that is your inner guidance system to then as THE MAP to guide you forward.

Me. You. And many others that you read about that took a chance at themselves. It may not be everyone

Imagine this: Turn left, turn right, go straight. Red light, green light, 1-2-3 (did you sing this back, too?) We deeply desire to have all of the answers, know what to do— where to go— how to do it— what to say— when to say it— etc. and, when you take any steps of faith, we want answers and direction like above and when we don’t get them, we feel we’re doing something wrong.

The way Spirit works is, the more connected you are to yourself and have a relationship with yourself— with Spirit— the steps will appear, the people will arrive, the path does clear… it’

Notice how scared you are…

To make the decision you know you must make…

To take the step you must take…

To say no to that thing you keep saying yes to…

To say yes to that thing you keep saying no to…

To book the flight…

To do something different…

To learn something new…

To open your heart for the potential breaking…

And, what a plottwist of what breaking truly is. We pray to be released and when we are, we question why.. what happened.. what did I do wrong.. when, all along, you were getting it “right”.

Celebrating you, Brave Soul. Brave One.
